Narrative of a personal anecdote

I was at home, with my family, having dinner when we saw a dog in our garden. We couldn't believe it, it was really weird. So I opened the garden gate and the animal walked slowly to us. At first, we both had fear but then I realized that it was a good dog. This little inocent was small with yellow eyes and white nose. It was charming. This dog was lost but algo hungry, so I gave it food. We had no idea about it's life, but we knew he was happy even when it was in an unknown place with different people. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, my grandmother went to answer the door: it was our neightbour Stephanie very worried, she was looking for her pet that had escaped. We asked if that dog was her's and exited said yes! Also, she told us that the dog was called Shrek, a name quite hilarous. Stephanie thanked us and apologized, finally she took Shrek to his house. I remember this like a heroes's story, because in some way, the hero in this case was me. 

We are accustomed from childhood to think that the heroes are fictional, they are in stories that we used to read or movies that we used to saw. I inform you that is a lie, in our world there are people of flesh and blood that can be considered heroes, doing great things to help others, taking risks for them. Yes, there are heroes, and they can be in any side, I hope this blog will help you to open your eyes!
